We invite you to submit papers to Chinese CHI 2014. Papers must present original material and will be reviewed rigorously by expert reviewers. Papers in all areas of human-computer interaction are invited and will be assessed on their contribution to the field. All accepted papers * will be included in the conference proceedings and published through the ACM Digital Library. Authors are invited to submit high-quality original work to advance the field.

Papers may be 4-10 page, or 2 pages long in the two-column ACM SIGCHI format. They must be anonymized and in PDF file format. Regardless of length, a paper may be presented as a talk, poster or madness. Length must match the contribution, and the same general criteria hold for all papers.

All work – both papers and optional video illustrations – must be submitted electronically via the  Program Committee may decide the presentation format that best suits the contribution, which may include multiple presentation forms (e.g. talk, poster and madness). 

Chinese CHI 2014 accepts submissions in either English or Chinese, but only English papers will be included in the ACM Digital Library. Chinese papers, if accepted, will be distributed to conference attendees as part of the handout materials during the conference, and are invited to submit 1-page English abstracts to be included  in the ACM Digital Library.

中文投稿說明:Chinese CHI 2014亦接受以中文撰寫之投稿,格式與審稿流程與英文稿件相同。Chinese CHI 和知網(簽約。知網將收錄Chinese CHI 2014 論文集。中文稿件需另外提供一頁以內之英文標題與摘要,此摘要將收錄於ACM Digital Library。

Review Process
Submissions will be reviewed in a double-blind process, and authors must ensure that their names and affiliations do not appear on the submitted papers. The author and affiliation sections of the ACM SIGCHI template must be left blank. In case of acceptance, authors will be asked to provide a camera-ready copy that includes this information, along with any recommended improvements as suggested by the reviewers.

Confidentiality of submissions will be maintained during the review process. All rejected submissions will be kept confidential in perpetuity. All submitted materials for accepted submissions will be kept confidential until the start of the conference.

File Size
Please note that the maximum size of your submission should not exceed 3Mb. If your requirements exceed this limit, please contact the conference chairs to make alternative arrangements. It will be possible to submit large videos via a link to online content (e.g. youtube or vimeo).

One author of each accepted submission must register for the conference before the early registration deadline in order for the final paper version to appear in the conference proceedings.
